We not only address the injury itself but also figure out the root cause of your injury, how that injury affects your daily life, and how we can prevent it from becoming a recurring injury.
Health Coaching
Health Coaching is so much more than just food. It allows you to gain the knowledge, skills, tools, and confidence to reach your goals. Most of us know we should eat “better” and exercise more, but how do you really do that? Learning how to implement new healthy habits and building new sustainable routines is where health coaching comes in. We can help you bridge the gap between the desire to be healthy and actually getting there. There is no one size fits all program out there. As your coach, I will help keep you accountable to reach your goals and will teach you the tools for you to make lasting changes.
Pilates-Based Rehab (Clincal Pilates)
Clinical Pilates incorporates Pilates-based rehab with traditional therapy methods. Pilates for rehab is gentle on the joints and the perfect way for a client to gain strength without overstressing the injured area. The focus is on building core strength, flexibility, breathing techniques, spinal mobility, and strengthening the entire body. Pilates also develops the smaller muscle groups, helping chronically weak and imbalanced muscles become stronger. Modifications to the exercises allow for a range of difficulty from beginning to advanced.
Menopause Strength & Fitness Training
Programs for women in midlife and menopause - built by a physical therapist and fitness coach who truly gets it.
I combine my background as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Exercise Physiologist, and Menopause Coaching Specialist to create personalized training that helps you build strength, increase energy, and feel your best through every stage of midlife and beyond.
