Hi! I am Hilary Granat, the co-founder and co-owner of C.O.R.E. Physical Therapy, Washington, D.C.’s premier center for physical therapy and sports medicine rehabilitation since 2006. 

Core Total Wellness is my affiliate organization that provides supplemental holistic health and wellness services designed to enhance performance and to accelerate the healing process addressed by traditional physical therapy. Often in my physical therapy practice, I see that treating the mechanics of motion cannot achieve total healing. Optimal health and healing often requires life style changes that include exercise, education and empowerment, modifications in diet, better nutritional habits, techniques to reduce stress, self-care and strategies that reduce inflammation. Core Total Wellness is your one stop shop for rehab, health, and wellness. Let me help you become the happiest and healthiest version of yourself, with an approach that is easy and fun!

When I decided to begin my journey to a healthier life with the hopes for weight loss as well, I turned to Hilary.  I was nervous about whether or not I could make the changes necessary.  I told Hilary that I needed to take things slow and make one change at a time, so that I did not get overwhelmed and quit.  Hilary was fantastic!  She completely understood and was very supportive about how I wanted to proceed.  She helped me to understand where I needed to make changes to my diet and why each change was important along with the benefits to my body and health.  She did not leave me floundering to figure out how to begin either, she gave me great suggestions for the products I should buy – everything from the healthiest almond milk to the least processed chips to the best frozen riced cauliflower and more.  Somehow Hilary made eating healthy exciting and interesting. I cannot thank Hilary enough and look forward to continuing my journey to a healthier life with her help.
