We believe that your care should not be limited by what your health insurance does and does not cover. With a cash-based practice, clients receive individualized care, treating the whole body rather than just one part of the body. This allows us full autonomy to provide high-quality care for what your body needs on any given day.

No. In the District of Columbia, patients can come directly to a physical therapist without a prescription or a referral from a physician. This is referred to as “direct access”.

We accept full payment at the time of service. You will be provided with a superbill which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

If you are being seen as a PT patient at C.O.R.E. Physical Therapy, We will submit your claims to your insurance company as a courtesy and your insurance company will reimburse you directly.

* Hilary is not a Medicare Provider and the law prevents her from providing Medicare patients with skilled physical therapy services. If you have been discharged from PT or are looking for a program to enhance your overall wellness related to aging, she is happy to provide wellness services which can include personal training, pilates and health coaching.*

Call your insurance company and ask them the following questions: Do I have out-of-network benefits? Do I have an out-of-network deductible? How much is my deductible for the year?

All physical therapy treatments are carefully tailored to the individual needs of each patient. The specific treatments to be performed will be determined by the PT at the time of your initial evaluation and will be modified appropriately as your condition progresses. Please refer to the PHYSICAL THERAPY SECTION of this website for more specific information related to this area.

Each visit is individually centered around achieving your goals. Each session is tailored to how you are presenting that day and what your body can tolerate on that specific day. We also recognize that as you make improvements, your goals will change, and you will want to work on other facets of your health, which we can continue to progress your plan of care together.

At-Home PT: At this time, Hilary is only taking a very limited number of in-home PT clients, but contact her directly for availability at hilary@coreptdc.com. Must be within a couple miles of NW DC and will travel as far as Bethesda, MD.

Follow-up visits: $250

We understand that life happens! We strive to be understanding and as flexible as possible. That is why our cancellation/no-show policy results in no charge if appointments are canceled with 24 hours or more notice. If a scheduled appointment is canceled within 24 hours of the appointment time, a 50% visit charge will occur. "No Shows" for appointments will incur a full visit charge. Thanks for understanding!
