Well, This week sure wasn’t what I had planned.

We were suppose to be traveling this week to somewhere sunny ☀️and warm to see my family. But due to c*vid exposures of a family member, we decided to play it safe and just stay home. My boys and I were really disappointed and there may have been some tears too.

I was looking forward to getting away and really felt like I needed the sunshine and a break from work. Every time I think things are going to get easier, another curve ball is thrown. I know you guys know what I’m talking about and may even feel the same. We are all exhausted and just want life to feel easy and carefree again.

So, now this week is about spending time with my boys, hanging with my puppy and going for walks, exercising more, getting my house organized (something I never have time for), thinking ahead to 2022 and what I want it to be for me, and just enjoying having some down time at home.
