MY Word for 2020: GRATITUDE

Happy New Year!

Two years ago, I decided not to make New Year’s resolutions anymore. But, instead choose a word that I would carry with me throughout the year to remind me what I want to focus on in my personal and professional life.

In 2018, I choose the word BRAVE which served me well as I started stepping further outside my comfort zone and still strive to do that more and more as time goes by. My word for 2019 was HAPPY. I chose this word because I believe that being HAPPY is a choice and that we have the ability to choose happiness and I wanted to make a conscious effort to do that everyday.


My word for 2020 is GRATITUDE❤️. I plan to have an Attitude of Gratitude this year - which means making it a habit to express thankfulness and appreciation in all parts of my life, on a regular basis, for both the big and small things alike. I tend to focus on what I don’t have and what I am striving for. I sometimes forget to truly appreciate all that I have and all that I have already accomplished.


But, don’t get me wrong, I am still planning on crushing 🔥👊 some massive goals for 2020 and this new decade!


So, starting today…. I have so much to be grateful for on a daily basis. I am grateful for family, my friends, my badass and beautiful tribe of women that I choose to surround myself with, that I am lucky enough to love what I do and be able to help others heal and thrive and live a better life. And, I am grateful for all of YOU. 😍❤️ Choosing a word can be very powerful. It allows you to focus on what is important to you which will determine your reality.
